Beautiful rolling Welsh hills

The Brecon Beacons, which include the Brecon Beacons National Park of 1,344 sq km, are a spectacular mountain range in the south of Wales. This is truly wild and authentic Welsh countryside. Best explored on foot, bike or horseback.

Pen y Fan is the highest of the “Beacons” at 886m, but is just one of many to be seen and enjoyed.

With an ancient history, there are over twenty hill forts, many of whom have ruins to this day which can be viewed.

Famed for its many castles, Brecon Castle and Carreg Cennen Castle are particularly noteworthy.
