Snowdonia is in the north of Wales and includes the Snowdonia National Park at 2,130 sq km. It is famed for its rugged, unspoilt, countryside, mountains and coastline.
This is an outdoor enthusiast’s heaven, with space to breath and explore. In Snowdonia you can feel like you are in an unspoilt former age with it all to yourself.
There are 60 km of coastline including the stunning beaches of Morfa Dyffryn and Morfa Harlech among many others.
The mountains of Snowdonia are famed for their beauty, with Mount Snowdon at 1,085m being the highest in Wales. Tryfan at 917m is recognisable due to it symmetric form.
The lakes of Snowdonia provide some of the most stunning vistas in all of Britain, with Llyn y Dywarchen and Lyln Cowlyd providing excellent examples of the beauty of the area.
